 All over the world, pups are growing up not knowing the human rules. Dogs jump and climb on each other in play, they dig to find or store food, they play tug of war by pulling on things, they bark to communicate... the list goes on.
How can we expect them not to do the same with us if we don't teach them?
Be a Mutt-friendly owner and teach them what YOU want them to do. We offer personal in-home lessons to teach your pup your rules.
Puppy training (for dogs up to 18 weeks of age) covers toilet training, play-biting, basic obedience and lead training. We'll also help with any specific questions or problems that you may have.
Obedience for older dogs - the gentle and motivational way. They're never too old to learn. A great fun way of teaching your dog to be the dog you always wanted!
Eliminating problem behaviours is no problem! Barking, digging, pulling washing off the line, pulling the lead, not coming when called, aggression toward other dogs or people and much more - it's so easy when you know how. Let us show you.
All dogs experience some sort of trauma in their lives, whether it’s being frightened by dogs, children or any number of things, we can help them over-come their fears. Rescue dogs can have the most traumatic start of all. Let us help you to help these re-homed dogs settle into their new environment...we want them to stay, after all!
Grooming is traumatic for many dogs – if yours is worried about being groomed, won’t go to the salon or cringes when he’s there, we can help you teach him that it’s all really alright.
Forget the harsh methods and brutality. You'll have far better results using our gentle, motivational, 'think-dog' approach.
