You can have the dog as he naturally is, or you can help him to be the dog you want...

Common Behaviour Problems We Fix

😰 Separation Anxiety & Destructive Behaviour

Does your dog bark, destroy furniture, or panic the moment you leave? Whether it's true separation anxiety or boredom-driven chaos, we'll identify the cause and build your dog's confidence and independence .

Timeline: Noticeable improvement within 1–2 sessions. Even severe cases are absolutely treatable.

🐕 Dog Aggression & Reactivity Training Sydney:

Lunging, barking, growling at other dogs or strangers? Reactive dogs don't belong in group classes — that usually makes things worse. We work one-on-one in your home, building confidence and teaching you to read your dog's signals before things escalate.

Timeline: 2–5 sessions depending on severity.

❤️ Rescue Dog Training

Rescue dogs come with baggage — and incredible resilience. We'll work at your dog's pace to build trust, address fear and anxiety, and help them understand their new life and rules.

Rescued Dog Rewards: Train within 2 weeks of adoption and receive 20% off. (Adoption paperwork required. Dogs 5 months+.)

Timeline: Usually 3–5 sessions, sometimes spaced a fortnight apart.

🔊 Excessive Barking

Neighbours knocking? Whether your dog barks when alone, at every passer-by, or at bumps in the night, we identify the specific trigger and address the cause — not just the noise.

Timeline: Initial improvement within 1–2 weeks. Usually resolved in 2–3 sessions.

Why Rescue Dogs Are Special

Rescue dogs often come with challenges, but they also come with incredible resilience. They may not have had proper socialisation, may have experienced trauma, or simply never learned basic manners. They need patience, understanding, and the right training approach.

Common Rescue Dog Issues We Address:

  • Fear and anxiety

  • Lack of toilet training

  • Dog has no basic obedience training

  • Reactivity to people or dogs or other stimuli

  • Separation anxiety

  • Resource guarding

  • Unknown triggers from past trauma

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does behaviour training take? Simple problems: 1-3 weeks. Complex issues like dog aggression: 3-6 weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline in your quote which will be verified or adapted at the first session.

Will my dog's behaviour ever be completely fixed? Yes, in most cases. Some dogs may need ongoing management in certain situations, but the vast majority of behaviour problems can be completely resolved.

Is my dog too old to change? No. Dogs can learn at any age. Older dogs may take longer to change established habits, but they absolutely can change.

What if my dog's behaviour is really severe? We've worked with severe cases for 30 years. If we feel your dog needs veterinary behavioural intervention, we'll let you know - but most don't.

Do you use punishment or harsh corrections? Never. We use positive reinforcement methods. Punishment often makes behaviour problems worse, especially fear-based issues.

Our approach is based on dog psychology — helping you understand your dog and build a relationship of genuine trust. Anxious, reactive, and destructive behaviours are almost always a sign that a dog lacks confidence in their relationship with their owner. We work with you both: guiding you to make small changes in your own behaviour that allow your dog to make big changes in theirs. If you're ready to be part of the solution, the results can be extraordinary.

We must thank you for putting our problem "child" on the right track. Having traumatic beginnings early in his life, Ben proved to be of a stronger character than the normal large breed. With your humane psychological training it was good to see him toe the line and behave. Thanks again for your hi-tech methods in training up our dog to our acceptable standard.

Thank you for saving our 'pack' from total domination!!!! Before your wonderful dog obedience training, we were the ones sitting and fetching. The change in him is unbelievable. He's transformed from a monster to an angel. Keep up the fabulous work and Ralph would like to give you a big lick and a tail wag. Thanks again .
